That the addition to the agenda be approved.

That the deputation provided by David Robinson regarding Pink Shirt Day for Peace be received.

That the Main Street District Business Improvement Area Board of Management Meeting Minutes of January 7, 2026 be approved.

That the Main Street Business Improvement Area Board of Management allocate 25% of the approved 2025 budget towards external community events and sponsorships.

That the Main Street District Business Improvement Area Board of Management request that Council approve the withdrawal of $10,000 of the Board's reserves.

Whereas the Main Street District Business Improvement Area Board of Management moved a motion at the February 4, 2026 meeting to allocate no more than 25% of their annual budget to community events sponsorships; and, Whereas the Pink Shirt Day for Peace organizers have requested a $2,800 sponsorship for the February 27, 2026 event; and, Whereas the Main Street District Business Improvement Area Board of Management would prefer additional notice for community sponsorship requests. Therefore it be resolved that: That the Main Street District Business Improvement Area Board of Management authorize a donation of $300 for the 2026 Pink Shirt Day for Peace event in Newmarket.
