That the report entitled More Homes for Everyone Act, 2022 dated April 19, 2022 be received; and, That the report entitled More Homes for Everyone Act, 2022 dated April 19, 2022 be submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing as input; and, That the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing be requested to extend the consultation period to allow for meaningful consultation with local municipalities; and, That the Province of Ontario be requested to implement sunset clauses on Zoning By-law Amendments and Official Plan amendments to accelerate housing; and, That Staff be authorized and directed to do all things necessary to give effect to this resolution.
